Pro Coaching Platform for Athletes and Clubs

The client

A sports coaching startup with an ambitious idea: give young athletes direct access to the kind of coaching that used to be reserved for the pros. The founders brought deep experience in professional and college sports and a network of elite coaches ready to take part. What they needed was a team that could turn the idea into a product and keep it moving from a first proof of concept to a launched platform without starting over at each stage.

The problem

Access to great coaching usually depends on geography and connections. A talented player in a small town might never get a pro to look at their film, and a club director has no easy way to bring that expertise to a whole program. Coaches have the knowledge, but no simple way to offer it on their own schedule and at their own rates to athletes beyond the ones they see in person.

What we built

We led the build through three phases, proof of concept, MVP, and launch, on Web and mobile with React and React Native. The platform gives athletes four ways to get help:

• Video analysis. An athlete uploads game film, and a coach breaks it down frame by frame with drawings and voiceover, then returns a plan they can train on.
• Scheduled live calls. One-on-one video sessions with the coach they choose, booked around both schedules.
• Coach on call. Real-time guidance from an available coach with no appointment, for the night before a big game.
• An AI companion for coaches. It turns what the coach sees into individual and team development plans, pregame briefs, and updates for families, all reviewed and released by the coach before anyone else sees them.

Many of the athletes are minors, so trust was part of the architecture from the start. Every athlete, parent, and coach is verified, and the platform itself acts as the security perimeter rather than relying on each user to get it right. Clubs and teams get their own tools for development, communication, and performance across a whole program.

The result

The apps are live in the App Store and on the web, with a carefully selected coaching community and a live pilot running with a national development program.
